One of the traditions growing up in the Gregg Family was making the walk down the street to the "Snoopy House" every Christmas season. Every year, for the past 40 years, this family decorates their front yard with a Snoopy and Peanuts Gang getup that is amazing... lights, music, animated murals. Santa makes an appearance from the 18th-23rd and kids from all over town come to sit on his lap.So this year, on the 23rd, we took the girls to see the 
"Snoopy House" and visit Santa. My family joined us, including Katherine and Paul who are here for the holidays from Chicago, and we had so much fun. I learned that the Santa the girls saw is the same Santa that has been at the house for the past 31 years! Which means my girls sat on the same lap and told their wishes to the same Santa I did! I think that's about the closest you can get to the real thing. Seeing the wonder in their eyes made me smile - even more so when I heard what Megan asked for and knew she'd find it under the tree Christmas Day!
