This Saturday we had some friends and family over to celebrate Molly's birthday in the afternoon. I went a little crazy with the Monkey theme - but anyone who knows me, knows I don't know how to do a party any other way. There was a Jungle Monkey Jumpy house, monkey cookies for the kids to decorate, I made a chocolate-banana monkey cake (in the end, I even impressed myself with how it turned out!)Chunky Monkey ice cream, a monkey bean bag toss game, peanut butter and banana sandwiches, coconut covered bananas, Curious George fruit gummies, and rice krispy treats in the shape of monkey faces as favors. I think Molly had a blast, and that is what makes me happy. She ran around in her bikini (a gift) until 6:30pm when I make her put some clothes back on! Today is my Dad's birthday and we all went out for breakfast. We kept telling Molly, "Now it's Papa's birthday... How old is Papa?" and she would reply very matter-of-factly, "TWO!" Hope you enjoy the slide show - I thought the heart frame was perfect for our "Little Valentine's" birthday pictures.
