Easter

So it's taken me awhile to get to this entry, but I hope you'll be as happy with the results as I am. I learned how to put our pictures in a Web Album. One that is accessible to all of you! Just click on the link to the right (towards the top of the blog) that says "Burns Picture Albums." This will take you to Picasa - where you can view all our pictures from Easter and order copies of your own if you'd like! Hope it's easy and you enjoy.
Easter was a fun filled week at our house. Aunt Kate was home visiting from Chicago and got a chance to volunteer in Megan's classroom one day. That was very special. We went together to an EGGstravaganza at the church were my mom works where the girls got to dye eggs, make "sonrise" bracelets, participate in an egg hunt, and visit a petting zoo full of baby animals. It was a lot of fun. And anytime I can get the girls in matching outfits, looking cute and posing for pictures is a bonus for me! The next week we had fun playing with Kate, dyeing eggs, and having Daddy home from work. Easter Sunday we woke up early (as in 5:45AM!) and the girls "found" their Easter baskets. Then we went to a sunrise service at the beach. Right in the middle of the sermon, we could see dolphins out on the horizon. It was very beautiful. After church, we went to Grammie Susan and Papa Don's for Easter brunch and an egg hunt. The girls had a lot of fun - and there were more eggs than they could gather! After naps that afternoon, we met Grandma Janis and Papa Tim on their electric boat for a cruise around the bay. It was a beautiful afternoon - and the girls were treated to even more Easter treats. By the end of the day I think they had eaten their weight in chocolate eggs and jelly beans.
