Today was Daddy's first full day of Summer - and we've been calling it "Monday Funday!" We went out to breakfast, then checked the bird traps at Strawberry Farms, and then picked our own baskets of strawberries at Tanaka Farms! It was sunny and perfectly warm. Megan and Molly had so much fun finding the "really red ones" and eating the sweet gems right off the vine. There were ladybugs everywhere, landing on both girls repeatedly, which brought squeals of delight. We also got to see tall corn, basil, tomatoes, carrots, eggplant, and peppers. Megan was excited to learn that in July we can go back and pick our own Watermelon - her favorite fruit!

Finger Lickin' Good

How lucky those girls are that Daddy is a teacher. They will make wonderful memories in the summertime.
