It's Good To Be Us

As many of you know - children change a marriage. The relationship I had with my husband 5 years ago (before 3 babies) is SO different than the relationship we share now. But now is good. Very good, actually. I love being a family. I love being a Mom. And I love seeing him be a Dad. He is an amazing Dad. I never knew I could love this man so much as the day I first saw him with our child in his arms.

But still - while now is good, it IS different than before. There is less time for the silly things we used to do together. Less time for just the two of us. What I find amazing however, is that with all this change - we are still the best of friends. He is the one I need when I have a bad day. He is the one that can always bring a smile to my face. He is the one, that no matter how tired I am, I still want to sit and talk to. He is the one that makes me feel important. He is the one that makes this crazy adventure of family and parenting worth it... makes it FUN. I couldn't do it with anyone else. He is the one who keeps me on my toes - makes me want to grow. He is the one - period. The One.
