Happy 3 Month Birthday! Three months and one day ago, I had so many questions and I couldn't wait to meet you. Now, I can't imagine my life without you. You were so wanted, so wished and prayed for. All of us were so excited for you to join our family! And now, you truly have made us complete.
You are such a little love. I should clarify by saying "little" is merely a term of endearment. You are a bruiser. Already over 14 pounds! Everyone says you look like you are 6 months old. But no matter, little or big, you are still a love. Everything about you makes me smile. The way you smell, your chubby cheeks, how you light up and kick you legs when you see your sisters. (You should know they light up when they see you too!) Megan actually told me the other day, "I just can't get enough of this kid, Mom!" I think she's heard me say that a time or two.
You have been such an easy baby. Nursing and sleeping like a pro from day one. And all day long, as long as you are full, you are happy! You play on the floor, "talking" to us and making us laugh. When you smile at us it makes our day. Daddy is the only one who has heard you laugh out loud so far. I can't wait to hear it too! I spend several minutes a day trying to get you to do it again. I think I'm close. Maybe that's what you'll give me for Christmas!
Already you are starting to reach out for things that I hold in front of you and today (quite by mistake I think) you rolled over from your back to your tummy. Megan, Molly and I all started cheering - and that made you cry. I think you surprised yourself!
I look at you and wonder what the next few years will hold. I am used to pink and princesses, dress up and tea parties, dollies, nail polish and pig tails. But you wont be any of those things. I am excited to learn about blue and superheroes, trucks and trains, dinosaurs, dirt, and faux hawks.
