I took Molly for her 3 year check up on Thursday. We were a little late because the Dr had to rescedule the appt I made the week of her birthday. She is 36 3/4 inches tall and 30 1/2 pounds. She is in the 50th percentile for both weight and height. Don't you think it's a little funny they measure in 1/4 inches? I mean, what does it really change to call her 37 inches tall? (My Advanced Stats prof would hate me for asking that question!) And happily, we can bid Adieu! to her "pink bubble gum" medicine. After 4 weeks and two different antibiotics, she finally kicked the double ear infections.
Wyatt cut his first tooth this week. The lower right front one. It's so fun to see it just poking through when he smiles really big. Matt and I are curious to see which kid got whose teeth. Matt has perfectly straight, boxy, pearly whites - and never wore braces a day in his life (CURSE HIM!) I on the other hand, have funky shaped yellow teeth that took oral surgery and 7 years of braces to get straight! I am also missing 4 of my adult teeth and have 2 Maryland Bridges. I want implants when we win the lottery.
Matt cut his first tooth at 4 months old. My mom says I got mine more around 1 year. Since Megan and Wyatt both got thier first tooth early, it will be interesting to see if they end up with teeth like Matt's. Poor Miss Molly however, cut her first tooth at 10 months, so I fear she may be in for a mouthful of her mother's dental woes.
