Janene Johns was found guilty on both counts and denied bail this morning!! They took her away in handcuffs. Some found this shocking - but she has been free for the past 21 months - so I do not feel sorry for her. While I wouldn't say I feel happy that this woman or her family has to suffer more - the alternative is not something I could have lived with. There has to be some sort of retribution for the loss of Candace's life - and who else to pay that debt than the woman who took her from us? Thank you for your prayers and support through all of this. Continue to pray for Candace's family, husband and son as the road to peace is still long. Johns is scheduled to be sentenced on July 18th. That still just breaks my heart every time I think of it. I am happy that she has to pay the price, but I know that nothing will bring Candace back. I pray for her family and friends every day!!
