Jack O' Lanterns

On Friday, Grammie & Papa, Aunt Kate & Uncle Paul, and Uncle Andy all came over for some family fun. My mom had made pork roast and butternut squash risotto for dinner and brought it with her. It was so yummy! After we stuffed ourselves off of paper plates (because we already started packing up the kitchen for our move!) we got busy on our jack o'lanterns.

How cute and happy is this kid?!
(Can you believe he was in the hospital at 3AM the night before?
Yeah, me neither.)

Everyone was very proud of their creation.

The girls making "scary" faces.

By the light of the moon (and a few candles!)
I thought it was super cute how each pumpkin fit each kid's personality just so.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
(Sadly, my Bella & Edward jack o'lantern did not turn out. It was a pain to carve all the little details...but I tried! I was about 90% done and thoroughly high off the resin fumes coming out from my fake plastic pumpkin, when a major portion of Edward's face broke off in my hands. I set it down with the intention of tooth picking it back on when I was all done. But not 5 minutes later, Wyatt had broken it into a million, orange styrofoam pieces!) Oh well...serves me right for attempting such a silly thing in the first place! I think I'll stick with good ol' triangles and circles next year!)
