This family is quite fond of Carly Shay and her cohorts.
iCarly is the one "kid" show that Matt and I actually watch and laugh at.
Laugh a lot.
If you've never seen the show, the premise is based around three friends - Carly, Sam & Freddie - who produce a web show from the loft of Carly's brother's apartment. Each web cast features talent contests, recipes, problem-solving, and (our personal favorite) Random Dancing! The other characters the round out the cast are hysterical. Carly's brother Spencer is her legal guardian, and he loves to eat two things - Spaghetti Tacos and Coconut Cream Pie! So last Friday night, in honor of iCarly's new episode that aired at Prime Time...this family had our own Nick at Nite celebration.
We called it "iEat Like iCarly"
I made Spaghetti Tacos for dinner
(pretty much just spaghetti in crunchy taco shells)
And coconut cream pie for dessert.
Both girls got new iCarly nightgowns
And we had several sessions of Random Dancing!
We had some time to kill before the episode started at 8...so we delivered pie to our neighbors (on our razors in our jammies!) It was a blast. We returned home just in time to all snuggle on the couch and enjoy "iPsycho." The episode did not dissapoint. Nick at Nite was so much fun family time for all...I can't wait to do it again. I'm thinking Chinese food & Karate Kid!

I love coconut cream pie. I can't believe I missed it! Looks yummy. There is so much going on in that Burns house I can't stand it. Love you!

HUGE iCarly fans over here too! Wee one sings the theme song all the time and of course we LOVE "RAAANDOM DANCING"! We actually random dance anywhere, anytime!

Big fans...that's what we are when it comes to iCarly. My hubby and I love to watch along with the girls. That isn't always so.

I just started watching icarly this week. I have an older child here for summer break so he & I watch it while the little ones are napping. I have to say, I look forward to it each day. :o)
Such a fun idea! I could totally go for the coconut cream pie! We also watched iPsycho...Elliott had Jay download "Missing You" in her iPod. Listened to that a million times.............. ;-)
What a FUN night you guys had! My 7yr old son loves icarly...actually he loves Sam! I bet he would love if I made spaghetti tacos! Thanks for the super FUN idea!
