Sweet Lemonade

We had a Lemonade Stand in front of our house on Wednesday afternoon. The girls had friends over all day, so that morning, everyone had fun helping me make some sweet treats to go along with the refeshment. Lemon sugar cookies and cupcakes!

In the beginning, Wyatt wasn't too sure about the whole event. What fun is hanging out on a street curb, not being allowed to eat the yumminess in front of you?! After the first few sales however, he was game! The girls would be sitting down on the job when a car would be coming down our street...and he'd yell at them "Get up! Get up! Get your signs up!"

Megan had fun serving everyone. Tall enough to ladle it out without a step stool....or spilling!

While Molly was in charge of the cash register. (That is SO Molly!) I think she counted the money 900 times. She also had fun just being altogether cute and posing for the camera. Megan took this next picture!

Our Aunt Erin and cousin Taylor walked over and were some very generous customers! The kids were so excited to see and hold Taylor.

I'm a little obsessed the with Cross Process feature while editing photos right now. To me, it makes the picture feel like ones taken when I was a little kid. Espesh when I add the rounded photo edges!

Love it! That is the one thing that we didn't cross off our summer list but plan to do in San Diego over Labor Day weekend! Love, love, love the last pic with the old school look and rounded edges! Oh, how I remember those! As for the salted caramel hot chocolate....Starbucks had it, but not sure if they still feature it during the holidays. If not, I will come up with a concoction and definitely share! ;-) Have a great weekend!
