One of the gifts we gave the kids for Christmas was a 6 month subscription to Little Passports. It's an awesome surprise in the mail every other month that we have really been enjoying. Our first package arrived with the explorer kit. It included a suitcase, passport, large World map and a picture of Sam and Sofia.
About a week later, we got the first package from Sam and Sofia's world travels. They were in Brazil!
The kids had fun placing the flag stamp in their passport and "push pin" on the map.
And the luggage tag and country sticker on the suitcase.
The letter, picture and souvenir from Brazil included information on the rainforest, uakari monkeys and an "amethyst."
That night, I made a kid-friendly traditional Brazilian dinner (with some great inspiration from this post!)
Complete with Caipirinhas with Brazilian rum!
Matt and I look forward to the day that we can travel the world with the kids.
Experience different countries, cultures, and cuisines for reals...
But for now, living vicariously through Sam & Sofia isn't half bad.
At the very least, it's great family fun!
Next up? Japan!

Such and fun and unique experience for all! :)
I love this company and I really like the idea of adding a meal to the fun (especially if mom & dad get a cocktail too)!
