Sigh.
So much on my plate right now.
I miss it. I miss you.
I delivered cupcakes and champagne to one of my best friends tonight.
Who lives down the street.
And is also living and breathing the beautiful beast that is Gala with me.
Without her...I'd be in a corner crying.
But I'm not.
And she's not.
Sometimes recently, we've been close.
But we have each other.
And the promise of an amazing night ahead.
So we are okay.
For you, it might not be Gala planning...
But I'm sure you've felt it before.
Life...sucking you under.
Commitments you are proud of
and love,
ones you'd never want to give up or give in.
But at the same time...are overwhelming.
To that I say,

Do the very next thing to keep your head above water.
And surround yourself with friends who are as CRAZY awesome as yourself.
Keep your eye on the prize.
And pre-schedule a day of wind in your hair bike rides, picnic treats, cold drinks and loud laughter,
with above mentioned friends ASAP!!

it's so cliche, but half the fun is the planning right?
i always tell myself that for the fun and great stuff (stuff like vacations)...the actual vacation is ALWAYS a blast, but the planning is also pretty awesome.

I so get this. Life, AGAIN, gets in the way of the fun stuff. I hear ya, and I officially release you from any Blogger Guilt you're feeling about not updating more regularly. I feel it all the time, so I'm letting you know that it's okay. And we're praying for you through your Gala. I'm loving the updates through Instagram about it!
