In an attempt to try and beat the heat this week, and for the girls to have some fun in doing so, this is what we came up with:I got a can of shaving cream, filled a bunch of little cups with it, and sent them outside. I filled the kiddie pool with water and told them to have fun. Do whatever they wanted with it. They were in hysterics - and naked - in 2 seconds flat! Even Duke joined in the fun. Our backyard smelled like a barber shop for a good hour. Life and joy are so simple when you are 2 and 4. I love it!

isn't that the truth, about simple joy at that age! very fun....i'll have to keep this in mind if it stays hot enough here this week! =)

Shaving cream fights are the BEST!!!!! Avoid eyes or wear goggles though.
