Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow yesterday. Which means we are in for 6 more weeks of winter. But apparently Southern California doesn't think very highly of Phil's prowess because the past four days have been glorious. Sunny, clear, 75-80 degrees glorious! I can't say I live here for the weather...but it is definitely a huge bonus. My 82 year old GiGi - who has lived in this town for going on 80 years - always says "Don't talk about our weather...we don't need anyone else moving here!" She remembers when there was one gas station and no street lights in all of Newport.
On Saturday, Matt and some friends got together at the high school to play football. All the kids ate Happy Meals in the grass and then ran wild on the field while the dads tried to relive their glory years. Wyatt was in his element. So happy chasing after footballs and throwing them, with all his might, across the grass.
His bow legged walk is just like Daddy's.
Only 16 months old and look at that form!

I'm about ready to hop on a plane to visit. Here is how sick of winter I am. It was 65 here yesterday and I said to Jon - not warm enough! I am cold!
Wyatt is getting so big! What a cutie. Carl would've LOVED to have played with Matt and his friends. He loves to relive his glory years, and then comes home sore :)
