Nantucket Supper Club

Some girlfriends and I, who are all "foodies," get together every other month for "Supper Club."
Shawna, me, Libby, Allison, and Courtney
(we're missing Aleece and Emily!)

It's a great time of trying new recipes, exploring new flavors, and celebrating good friendships! We take turns hosting and the hostess picks the theme for the night as well as bakes the main dish. The rest of us bring drinks, apps, salads, side dishes, and desserts that compliment her choice. At the end of August we enjoyed "Summer in Nantucket" at Aleece's. We just got together last week for "My Big Fat Greek Supper Club" and it was delicious! Think Hummus and Warm Pitas, Lamb, Vegetable casseroles, and Baklava. I made Baked Falafel with Tzatziki! Unfortunately - we were all too busy enjoying the food and each other - no one snapped pics. I'll still post the recipes over on Haute Plates later this week tho. Coming up in December - "A Victorian Christmas Supper Club." I bring the beverage...Any suggestions?!

This is great - what a fun idea! For your Victorian beverage, you should definitely do a mulled wine or mulled cider.

That's awesome! My closest friends from childhood live too far away for these types of gatherings and my friends around here just don't seem to do these types of things. Not that I think I'd ever be able to host a dinner like this! I'm impressed!

Not to nit-pick...but I just had to say...Cioppino is from San Francisco, NOT Nantuckett. The peach tart looks AMAZING!!
