"Kids Under Construction" was a song we used to sing in Vacation Bible School when I was little. But lately it describes what's been going on around us! Our neighbors on BOTH sides of us have begun major construction this week. As in knocking down the whole house to its foundation and taking out about a dozen towering Eucalyptus trees to the left of us. And building a 4 car garage and apartment unit on the back of the lot to the right of us. So it's been extremely noisy and dusty around here. To get to the back of their lot, our neighbors took out part of the fence that divides our two properties and all the big tractors entered down our long driveway.
The hole in the fence is right outside the window by our kitchen table. So the girls have logged countless hours standing on our dining room chairs enjoying watching all the commotion. Lately they've been brave enough to watch from outdoors too!
