It's Alive!

The last few days I have thought I felt the baby kick. But then I don't feel anything again that feels the same, so I chalk it up to being cramps or gas. You'd think the third time around I would know what it feels like to have a baby move inside of me....but I've still been second guessing myself. Last night, however, I was awake in the middle of the night and I felt three distinct kicks - each a couple minutes apart - but all feeling pretty much the same. This time, I knew it was the baby. Again today, several times, I have felt the same feeling. Even though my belly is getting bigger, we've heard the heartbeat and seen the little guy on TV...I still am always wondering, "Is this real? Is everything going okay? Is he getting any bigger?" So it's nice to have this little physical reminder that yes, it's real, it's alive and kicking...and here to stay!
