I couldn’t resist hacking into your blog since you are gone in Chi Town. I wanted to take this time to tell you how much YOU mean to me. As we approach our 15th V-Day, I started to think of all the reasons I Love YOU and this poem popped in my head that I wrote 15 years ago when I fell completely in LOVE with YOU!

What YOU mean to ME!

YOU walked into my life

And knocked ME off my feet;

the glow YOU gave off

made my heart skip a beat;

with so much faith in above

I fell completely in LOVE;

because right from the start

I could see the kindness in your heart.

YOU’VE opened my eyes

to things like raw fish

and garth’s greatest hits

all are things I had never missed;

but MY life has changed

for the better I must say;

because YOU are a woman

I admire in every way;

and for the rest of MY life

and through all possible strife;

there will be no other

that could compare to MY LOVER

for I will always LOVE HER.

And now 15 years later……married……3 kids…..Nothing has changed. I didn’t think it was possible to Love YOU any more than I did, but I find myself falling in love with YOU every day. The woman YOU have grown to be makes me proud to married to YOU and I am reminded on a day to day basis of how truly lucky I am to have YOU in my Life. I could not have asked for a better person to be by my side or to raise my children. Thanks for being my best friend, and my daily inspiration. I LOVE YOU.
