Pack Rat

This morning, as I was making Wyatt's bed, I noticed there were several "lumps" down in his sheets. He sleeps with his "KeyKey" - a blanket made for him by my friend Betsy, and his Jaguar from Aunt Kate & Uncle Paul. But other than that....I wasn't sure what I would find.

Look at all the LOOT I came across!!

Let me just say that I make his bed almost every day. Sometimes TWICE a day, as he likes to get into his covers at naptime. So all this wasn't there yesterday morn. I know for a fact, the popcorn came from a movie Matt took the girls to yesterday afternoon!

My favorite thing is my measuring tape. Whenever I can't find it, I go looking in his room. He likes to pretend it's a "Rescue Rope" he uses to pull animals (or sisters) from the quicksand and lava that seem to pop up all around our house on a regular basis.

What I love about this discovery the most is that it just screams WYATT! It's all his favorite stuff. All the little things that make up his everyday and who he is as a 2 year old BOY. Screws, tools, dinosaurs, SNACKS, anything resembling a ball, and of course, Diego & Lighting McQueen.

Yep, that's my Munchie. A Pack Rat.

But he still kisses me on demand, so he pretty much gets to do (and sleep with) whatever he wants.
