My Super STAR

This morning Mateo and I rose with the sun at 5:15am.

We cooked 10 lbs of sausage links.

Scrambled 5 dozen eggs.

And made 25 cups of waffle mix.

(brilliant idea of putting waffle mix in a cleaned out ketchup container for easy "squirting" into waffle maker came from Pinterest. Officially addicted to that place.)

Because today was the 3rd Annual Mr. Burns Bakes Breakfast

Something he does for his students the morning of STAR testing. 

This was after he took his Surf Team to pack food for the hungry last night.

They worked til almost 11pm and together readied enough packs to
feed 78 children for a WHOLE YEAR!!

I love this man.

Because he never tires of finding new and fun ways
to reach and inspire his students.

Because he leads by example. Our children. Other children. Me. 

Because he pretty much rocks my socks. 

Isn't it fun to see how we've grown?
