School Pictures

There's just something about school pictures that pulls at my heart. They feel nostalgic even when when they are current. I can already imagine looking at these years from now and wondering where the time has gone. Who am I kidding? I'm doing that right now!

CLICK HERE to see Megan's previous school pics. I love that they are in the same chair each time. Every year her smile has gotten bigger, more joyous, more confident. We took a long time deciding whether or not to send her to Kindergarten last fall and I am so glad we didn't. She has always been smart and capable, but these past 9 months, she has really come into her own. (Maybe even a little too much - as she rolls her eyes at me on a daily basis!) I'm gonna have to scan in a sample of her penmanship. I love that I did that last year...

3-Day Preschool with Miss Pachi

This was Molly's first year of school pictures. The smile is Molly to a T. Sweet, but also a little mischevious. Can you see that glimmer in her eye? And there's a giggle right under the surface too, I can feel it. I'm going to scan in her penmanship also - shouldn't be too hard, as she writes M-O-L-L-Y all over the house....often in permanent black sharpie pen no less!
